The DivX format is sweeping the world due to its amazing quality - quality which far exceeds streaming video. From this web site, you'll be able to download an entire JM video and watch it in DVD quality on your PC! Since you are watching the downloaded movie on your PC, you will no longer be at the mercy of internet slowdowns which have long plagued and hindered the quality of streaming video to date. You will get TRUE DVD quality on your PC!
Using the free DivX player from DivX Networks, you can rent one of our movies and watch it as much as you'd like for the entire rental period (3 days, 14 days, etc.) or unlimited playback if you chose the Burn to Own option. After you purchase the rental, you will download the entire video to your computer. Depending on the speed of your connection, downloading the entire video may take a few hours, but you can watch it along the way. Once it is downloaded completely, you can skip to any portion of the video you'd like. Note that, since you are renting the video for a specified period of time, you must be connected to the internet to view your movie - for authentication purposes.
Remember, the DivX format is a high-end ball draining solution, so it requires a quality broadband internet connection. You will also need enough disk space to store the completely downloaded movie - which could be about 700MB per movie.
Basic Instructions for Rental & Viewing Process
- First, install the DivX Player for either Windows or Mac by following the links above.
- Next, browse our site and select a DivX encoded video. Once you select the video and rental duration you'd like, you must enter your credit card information on the provided form. We accept a variety of major credit cards. Your card will only be billed ONCE for this purchase.
- Once you made your purchase, you will be shown a link for your movie on screen (a copy of this link will also be e-mailed to you). Clicking this link will open the DivX Player, and the DivX Player will prompt you to create a username and password for viewing your premium content. If you are already registered with DivX, you will be required to enter your username and password (although it is probably already saved and pre-filled). If you do not yet have an account, click the "Create an Account" button - it's quick and free. After creating an account, DivX will e-mail you a link to activate the account. This is a one time confirmation e-mail that is only sent when you first sign up a DivX account.
- Once this process is complete your movie will begin to download! Be sure to save your transaction ID (which will be shown on screen and e-mailed to you). You will need this if you have any major problems and require our help.
- Next, you will begin downloading your JM Productions movie, the DivX Player will open and show a vindow in which you can monitor the progress of the download and even watch the downloaded portion.
- If the download is interrupted, simply go to the DivX - MOVIES folder on your desktop and double click on the partially downloaded movie. Your download will automatically resume from where you left off. You will also be e-mailed a link you can use to restart your download.
- For your convenience, the rental period does not actual begin until you first begin download & viewing your movie.

- Graphics card with 32MB of RAM or more and supporting 24-bit color or better for DivX Home Theater profile video
- Graphics card with 64MB of RAM or more and supporting 24-bit color or better for DivX High Definition profile video
- 24-bit color is recommended for best video quality
- Screen resolution of at least 800x600 recommended for DivX Home Theater profile video
- Screen resolution of at least 1024x768 recommended for DivX High Definition profile video
- DirectX 7-compatible sound card supporting 2 audio channels (stereo) sampled at 16-bit/44.1Khz or better
- DirectX 9 or higher
- Not compatible with Windows ME, Windows 98.

Burn to Own
You can download many of our titles and burn them to DVD for immediate playback on your DivX Certified DVD Player.
The titles below have been encoded at an ultra-high bitrate to allow for AWESOME video quality on your home television. You will require a DVD Burning Drive in your computer to watch these on your home DivX-Cerified DVD Player (required). They will also work for unlimited playback on your PC Computer. So even if you don't have a DivX Certified DVD Player, you can still enjoy unlimited ultra high quality playback on your PC.
Your DivX Player (remember to use only the one you can download here) has a built in DVD Burner that will allow you to burn up to 3 (depending on the length of the movie) JM Download to Own DivX titles to a single writeable DVD.

Additional Requirements: To burn DVDs your computer must have a recordable DVD drive and you must have blank recordable DVD media. To play the movies on your TV you need a DivX certified DVD Player.
